Don't know how many miles I have on it, but holding up fairly well. I do run a Shinko 700 on the rear for my true dual sport 50/50 rides. I have 2 sets of wheels - as I did for my DRZ400. WebI am about to buy a 11 000km drz 400s from 2005. I mostly ride for commuting and going on some country road on weekends with gravel and dirt. I am afraid that tires will wear more quickly than if i buy a drz 400 SM with SM tires and only stay on road. Is it true ? Suzuki's 2024 SuperMoto DR-Z400SM is based on the proven DR-Z400S. Web14 mar 2008 · In my opinion the 17" 150/70-17 rear is good, but the front will work better with a 19x2.5 rim similar to the bmw adventure bikes, with a 110/80-19 tire. Search this site for pictures of the husqvarna 610 adventure with this setup. Many manufacturers make a good 19" front tire, so you may not need two wheelsets, just two tire sets. With full on street tires it is pretty unnerving.
